2009 – What a Year!!!
Yes, 2009 was a big year for us. We introduced some amazing equipment that brought motion into our work…a certain diversity that compliments the stillness of scenes. The Glideacam & Glidetrack are our tools of the trade. Using them to emphasize particular shots of the day, our work is now leading the way in the Australian wedding video market. Late last year, Dean introduced the GH1, allowing him greater depth of field in some of the shots that he takes. It’s amazing how technology has fused photos & video together. Watch out for some of the clips in 2010 as he incorporates this versatile camera.
So what’s on for 2010!
In conjunction with the Australian Video Producer’s Association, I am proud to be involved in organizing the Melbourne StillMotion workshop in February of this year. This will be an amazing experience for the group who will be attending and will certainly thrust all attendees in setting a standard for wedding video that will surpass the norm. We look forward to involving some of our clients as models in one of the days shooting. Hopefully we will be able to link some of the events that we will be involved with & share our experience.
This year also, our aim is to diversify & expand. Let’s see how we go in building our team & increasing our networks…
