When we first met Laura with her wedding planner and we listened to the importance of Laura’s grandparents, we knew that something special could grow from this. Fortunately Laura shared this passion and after a conversation with Mossy via skype, plans were set to fly to New York. The greatest thing about creating a story is that it unfolds as it happens.
Our team spent a week in New York, and with a busy schedule wanted to ensure that they captured the vision and connections of the stories filmed in Australia. The crew came back with some brilliant footage – now to the editing.
For Laura & Mossy, their Life story was shared with their guests in two parts. The team created this proposal story and used it just prior to their reception entrance. The scene at The Windsor was set and what an amazing entrance it was.
As a parent, I know how important family is…sharing moments and remembering special times are what creates our memories.
This story was the primary element of Laura & Mossy’s Life story. With both of Laura’s Nona’s playing an important part in their day, what better way to capture their love and share how important they are than to actually film these moments. Both families are amazing – their love is heart warming and we are thrilled to have created this for not only Laura & Mossy, but for all their family.
However we had a challenge. Sadly both of Mossy’s Grandparents were no longer here and we felt that finding a way to represent this was truly important. In our meeting with Laura, she mentioned a cook book that Mossy had – it was perfect!!!
A Same Day Edit is something that is indescribable – one can never fully appreciate the emotion of sharing it until you have been a part of it.
For Laura & Mossy, this completed the story of their day. There are so many elements that make this complete that you just have to watch it.
With both the ceremony & reception at the Windsor Hotel in Melbourne, Laura & Mossy’s wedding story has taken them across from New York to Melbourne. With a blend of rituals, their vows were heart felt…you could feel their love in their words, the tone and their expressions as they shared their commitment. They truly have a love story.
Our team has had an amazing December and I am humbled with one of the most beautiful complements that Laura’s dad said – “we are not videographers…we are artists!” A perfect day to complete an amazing year.
Thank you to all the family who have helped us make this beautiful movie.
